Family Sports Holidays
Description
“Our goal for each athlete is to have fun, learn, meet new friends, and take a great attitude about their sport back to his or her home club”.
Co-founders James Parrack and Matthew O’Connor grew up in local swimming clubs in the UK and both went on to represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games. Their family sports holidays have been running in Mallorca since 2005 and are designed for families to come away to a beautiful holiday destination and for the athletes in the family to take advantage of a training camp run by Olympic swimmers and FA coaches. New in 2008 is the football holiday which will be run by Coventry City FC Academy coach Paul Reynolds, an FA level 3 coach.
The holidays take place in the beautiful city of Palma de Mallorca where you stay in a friendly four star hotel situated directly on the clean and safe Playa de Palma beach just minutes from Palma’s city centre. While the children are swimming or playing football, parents can relax on the beach or take in some of the beautiful sights on the island. The holidays include seven days packed full of activity. The athletes train at excellent sports venues during the day and in the evenings they can take part in all sorts of other organised activities with their parents and siblings.
This is an excellent way for young people to enjoy their sport while receiving top quality personalised training. Blue Water ensures fun for all the family and the popularity of their holidays grows more and more every year. All holidays for 2007 are already sold out! Book soon for 2008!
